Infestation, Chapter 12"STOP!" I yelled menacingly over the chaos that had erupted around me.  Every one of the programs froze in place, some with their Identity Disks literally drawn at each other's throats.  "Well, I'd never thought that I'd see the microcycle that you actually acted like Commander Sark, Tron." Nion mocked, his face smug, but his eyebrows raised in surprise.  I bristled at the statement, and growled through my teeth, "Never compare me to that son of a glitch, understood?!"  He let out a laugh. "You don't understand the position you're in, Tron, do you? Say the wrong thing and I just might have to de-rezz you."  "Shows how Infestation, Chapter 12

Infestation, Chapter 11I didn't sleep at all.  I felt twice my age as I felt the last microcycles used for sleeping tick by.  Poor Yori hadn't been able to get very much sleep because of the virus jerking her awake from time to time to try and attack me. However, it wasn't showing signs of spreading, which gave me some hope.  We were currently on the floor, and she was trying to catch the last few snatches of sleep underneath me. The bindings I had made still held strong, which made matters easier.  If only everything could be solved so easily.  I felt her move under me slowly, instead of jerking around, and naturally came out of her sleepi Infestation, Chapter 11

Infestation, Chapter 10My mate took advantage of my shock by thrashing around under me, snapping at my arms with her teeth to get me to let go.  I shook myself out of it, and pressed down on her with all of my weight. She let out a snarl and tried to attack me again, but this time only her head moved, which I dodged easily while still keeping a grip on her.  I slipped my disk slowly back into place, all the while keeping my eyes on her, and asked, very solemnly, trying to keep my voice from shaking, "Yori, what happened?"  It was beyond scary to see my loving and innocent mate revealing a ferocious and violent mirror image of herself. Infestation, Chapter 9Sweep's words couldn't prepare me for the utter chaos in the east sector.  The exterior of the building, which now had data breaking off of it at a fast rate was amok with fleeing and screaming programs, some injured, some not.  "Sweep, help them!" I yelled.  "Yessir!" He dashed away, not as fast as Emerg, but close.  I grabbed the arm of one of the programs, and yelled over the commotion, "What happened?"  "Virus escaped!" The program tried to jerk away from me, and I allowed ihim to. There was no time to stop him from running.  I ran through the crowd, pushing past programs I didn't know, trying to find Emerg, Infestation, Chapter 9
